Frequently asked questions
Is the trial really free?
Yes. The 20-minute introductory session and your account cost nothing, and no card details are requested.
I don't speak Arabic at all. Can I still start?
Yes. Complete beginners start with the alphabet and reading, and the teacher explains in English or French.
Are all teachers women?
Yes. ARBEDU is a women-only platform: every teacher and every learner is a woman, and identity is verified before a teacher is approved.
What time zones do you cover?
Teachers publish slots in their own time zone and the platform shows them in yours, including evenings for Europe and the Americas and mornings for Asia.
What happens after the trial?
You choose your teacher and pace. Regular lessons are priced by each teacher, guided conversation practice is 1 EUR per hour, and reduced or free places exist through the solidarity programme.
Do you teach children?
Yes. Children learn from their mother's account with short sessions adapted to their age.
